In response to the requirements in the Notice on the Demand Declaration of IT Projects in 2023 (see appendixes), the Network and Informatization Office will organize the review of IT project requirements in 2023 according to the Administrative Measures of Cybersecurity and IT projects of Huazhong University of Science and Technology.
The method of centralized review is adopted: Leaders of all schools and departments or persons in charge of IT application will report the IT projects from 2023-2025 in the form of PPT, highlighting the IT project requirements to be declared in 2023. The review team, composed of the Network and Computing Center, the expert committee of cyber security and informatization and the user committee, will determine whether the projects declared are necessary, their content and budget rational, and rank them as per their priority.
The deadline of the demand declaration of IT projects in 2023 is September 30. The declaration form shall be filled in as required, and sufficient communication with the Network and Informatization Office on the declared projects is necessary for the preparation of the review.
