On the morning of April 23, the network security and informatization leading group conferfence was held to discuss and deploy the network security and informatization work of HUST. The deputy heads of the leading group, vice presidents Liang Qian and Chen Jianguo of HUST attended the conference.
All attendees studied the important statements in the Excerpts of Xi Jinping's Statements on Building a Cyber Power, and the Notice of the Ministry of Education on Strengthening the Informatization of Educational Management in the New Era, Key Points of Work in 2021 of the Department of Science, Technology and Informatization of the Ministry of Education, Digital Campus Construction Specifications for Higher Education Institutions, and other relevant documents issued by superior departments. At the meeting, attendees heard summary reports on network security and informatization work in 2020, key points of network security and informatization work in 2021, new data center construction with “One Table” and “One Figure”, as well as Management Measures of New Media in HUST, etc., made by the Leading Group of the Network & Informatization Office. Besides, the Assessment Measures of the Implementation of Network Security Responsibility System of HUST (Revised edition) and the newly added informatization projects in 2021 were reviewed and approved on the conference.
In addition, after the leading group reported on the process and content of the "14th Five-Year" Informatization Development Plan of HUST, the other attendees reviewed and approved the Plan at the conference.
Finally, Liang Qian put forward three requirements for the future network security and informatization work: First, deeply understand the "Two Overall Situations", improve political awareness and perform duties; second, deeply understand educational practices and attach importance to the "Seven Noes"; third, focus development goals and advance difficult tasks in a coordinated way.
