News Website Report (Liu Lian, Correspondent) The conference on HUST cyber security and informatization training was held jointly by the Network and Informatization Office and the Network and Computing Center on June 15 and June 16, respectively, at Tongji Medical College and the main campus, in order to improve the cyber security and informatization work of the university, the quality of the network & informatization team and their awareness of cyber security. The attendees included over 100 IT coordinators from all departments of the university.
The training content contains HUST's cyber security trends, vulnerability reporting and processing and security detection before system operation, IT services, transformation and construction schemes of campus network and wireless optical network in 2022, as well as the instructions on how to fill in the questionnaire about the construction of a new data center.
The attendees exchanged ideas on campus IT services and network security guarantee in the Q&A session. With this training, the network & informatization team have a profound knowledge of new trends of cyber security and informatization development, and the quality of cyber security and informatization team is improved. This significantly accelerates and improves the informatization and IT application in HUST, and ensures campus network security.
