On the morning of March 30, Jiang Kaida, Deputy Director of the Informatization Promotion Office of Shanghai Jiaotong University, together with another two colleagues, visited our school and investigated our work related to the application of information technology in teaching & scientific research, data sharing, application of typical data, and cyber security. Director Zheng Xiaojian and Deputy director Wu Chi of the Network and Informatization Office, Deputy director Liu Bin of the Network and Computing Center, as well as relevant staff attended the exchange meeting.
Director Zheng Xiaojian gave a warm welcome to the delegation from Shanghai Jiaotong University for their visit, and said that Shanghai Jiaotong University has accumulated rich and valuable experiences in the application of information technology, and the exchange between the two schools also constituted an opportunity for our school to learn precious experiences. He also hoped that both schools can learn from each other and get inspired during the exchange. After that, Deputy director Wu Chi introduced the system and mechanism of network and informatization work in detail as well as the main achievements in this domain during the 13th Five-year Plan period, and demonstrated several typical examples of our school in data governance and application in recent years, such as "A Form" platform, big data platform, "One Map" platform, and campus data visualization platform.
During the interactive exchange, both sides had in-depth discussions on specific issues in terms of construction of system and mechanism, data governance, cyber security measures, application of network security assessment and evaluation results, and project construction management. The questioner went straight to the point and answerers shared their opinions actively. The atmosphere was warm and the content was diversified. Through the exchange, the two sides shared their ideas and experiences in network and informatization work, clarified the confusions in the work, and deepened the understanding and friendship between the peers of the two schools.
The delegation also visited our Administrative Service Center, and highly praised our philosophy and features about online and offline "One-stop" services.
