On April 24, 2020, the Leading Group conference on Cyber Security and Informatization (hereinafter referred to as the Leading Group) was held through Internet. The Group Leader and School Party Secretary Shao Xinyu, Principal Li Yuanyuan attended the meeting and delivered speeches. The Deputy Group Leaders and School Leaders Chen Jianguo, Xie Zhengxue attended the meeting. The meeting was presided over by the Deputy Group Leader and Vice Principal Liang Qian.
The meeting conveyed the spirit of General Secretary Xi Jinping’s important speech at the 20th meeting of the Central Committee for Comprehensive and Deepening Reform, the spirit of important instructions for the National Network Security Publicity Week and the spirit of "Key Points of Education Informatization and Cyber Security in 2020". Yu Junqing, the director of Network Security and Informatization Office, reported the work in 2019 and the key points of the work in 2020. Also, the budget plans for informatization construction in 2020 was adopted.
The meeting emphasized that it is necessary to change the concept further and raise awareness of cyber security and informatization work. It is need to clarify the goals of the network security and informatization work so that it can serve the development of the university better, and the teachers, students and staff could have a greater sense of gain, happiness and security. It is necessary to strengthen the construction of the network information team, esp. focusing on the establishment of three teams for decision-making management, development & maintenance and application use.
The meeting required that the top-level design should be strengthened, and the university’s "14th Five-Year" Informatization Development Plan should be well prepared, focusing on strengthening the content resources construction and data management, improving the function and performance of network information services, and supporting the school’s refined management. We must pay attention to the security of online content and cyber environment, too.
