On July 16, "One Form" Project for Universities and Information Planning Seminar for "14th Five-Year" was held in Mingde Lecture Hall of the Wutongyu Academic Exchange Center. Over 200 experts and key technicians from the information technology departments of different universities gathered together to discuss the governance and planning of information technology data in universities. Vice President of HUST, Liang Qian attended the seminar and delivered an opening speech.
In his speech, Qian Liang thanked the brother universities and partners who have been caring about, supporting and helping the development of HUST's informatization construction. He also stated in her speech that after the efforts in the "13th Five-Year Plan", HUST had initially built a smart campus with our own characteristics. He hoped that from the new starting point of the "14th Five-Year Plan", HUST would provide some innovation ideas and reference for the informatization development plan and other related work for colleges and universities in "14th Five-Year Plan" at the seminar.
Xiang Hai, Director of Office of Hubei Cyberspace Affairs Commission, Xu Hongli, Co-President of Neusoft Group, Liu Chunjiang, Vice President of Wuhan University of Technology, and Zhang Wei, Vice Chairman of Educational Informazation Branch, China Higher Education information Academy delivered speeches respectively.
Zhang Xiaoping, Director of Informatization Office and Director of Information Technology Center of Tsinghua University, delivered an opening report entitled "Review the 13th Five-Year Plan and Look Forward to the 14th Five-Year Plan". In this report, he reviewed the achievements of Tsinghua University in information infrastructure, public support platforms, information systems, network and information security systems, support environments, informatization literacy, user service models, etc. during the 13th Five-Year Plan period. At the same time, he also looked forward to the goals and prospects of the "14th Five-Year Plan" to achieve "Three Transformations" and build a new generation of smart campuses by focusing on the "Three Centers". Participants were greatly impressed by Mr. Zhang Xiaoping's novel ideas such as the construction of informatization dimension in colleges and universities, physical and digital existence of colleges and universities, and the biggest difficulties of informatization: insights and imaginations, etc.
Che Xiangjiu, Director of the Big Data and Network Management Center of Jilin University, made an online report entitled "Follow Trend and Analyze Data". He proposed that through the governance of data according to the system of data, the upgrade of service experience that is demand-oriented, teacher & student-centered, and data-centric can be achieved.
Chen Caijun, Director of the Network & Informatization Center of Wuhan University of Technology, gave a report entitled "Strengthen Informationization of Educational Management in the New Era, and Promote Modernization of School Governance with Informatization". He shared some points in strengthening the informatization of education management in the new era based on his practical experience.
Shen Fuke, Secretary General of the Information Governance Committee of East China Normal University, delivered a report entitled "A Preliminary Study on Hierarchy Model of Educational Informatization", which explored the "Maslow" Hierarchical Model of Educational Informatization from the perspective of in-depth integration. The cut-in angle and the in-depth discussion on issues related to informatization gave the participants a lot of inspiration.
Lu Yiqin, Deputy Chief Information Officer (CIO) and Director of the Network & Informatization Office of South China University of Technology, gave a report entitled "New Infrastructure Empowers Construction of Smart Campuses in First-Class Universities" and shared the experience and results of the construction of SDN network, data center and central management platform of the Guangzhou International Campus of South China University of Technology.
Wang Shixian, Director of the Network and Informatization Office of HUST, delivered a speech entitled "Practice and Thought from "One Form" and Data Governance". He shared the purposes practices and plans of the construction of "One Form" platform.
Guo Yan, Education Technology Director of Neusoft Group, made a report entitled "Schools' Integrated Service Platform Bridges the Last Kilometer of University Informatization Construction".
Participants of the salon seminar included Professor Yu Junqing, Director of the Financial Department and member of the Network and Computing Center of HUST, presided over the "University CIO Salon" seminar. Topics such as the university information system and mechanism, technician team building, funding guarantee, informatization working methods, information system construction methods, etc. were discussed at the seminar. Participants actively raised questions, which inspired many discussions, leading a satisfactory end to this seminar.
Participants were also organized to visit the Administrative Service Center and the Smart Campus Management & Operation Center during the conference.
