On the morning of December 30, 2021, a team led by President You Zheng investigated the university's cyber security and informatization development work in the Network and Computing Center in the South Six Building.
You Zheng and other members visited the university's computer room, data machine room, room for the public service platform of high-performance computing and intelligent campus operation & management center. Wang Shixian, Director of the Network and Informatization Office and Network and Computing Center,gave a report on the cyber security and informatization development work of the university during 13th Five-year, and made a special report on the building and application of some important information platforms, such as the big data platform, "One Map" platform and "One Form" platform.
You Zheng believed that the University's "Ten Ones" project of the informatization development during the 13th Five-year had made great achievements. He put forward requirements for the cyber security and informatization development work during the 14th Five-year, especially in the next stage. Firstly, we need to set up a decision-making support system and data board system to provide a basis for the management of the university, faculties and departments to make efficient and rational decisions. Secondly, we need to have the awareness of fundamental guarantee and improvement. We should guarantee the operation & maintenance, stability and infrastructures, and prevent risks. For this purpose, we need to ensure the advancement of informatization development and make plans in advance properly. Thirdly, we need to pay attention to user's experience and concern about user's satisfaction. We should solicit opinions from users through various ways periodically and make continual improvements. Fourthly, we need to attach more importance to cyber security and data security and keep vigilant. We should ensure hierarchical authorization of data, and guarantee the university's cyber security, information security and data security.
You Zheng pointed out that we should carry out all tasks orderly according to the 14th Five-year Plan of Informatization Development, and provide more support to the overall objective of building a first-class university by application of information technologies.
Vice-president Liang Qian and head of the Party Committee Office and President's Office also participated in the investigation. Leaders of the Network and Informatization Office, Network and Computing Center as well as head of relevant internal organizations attended the symposiums.
