Notice on Student Registration for Spring Semester 2021

To all departments and students:

The relevant matters concerning student registration for spring semester 2021 are hereby notified as follows:

I. Registration time

1. For undergraduate and graduate students, the registration period for spring semester 2021 is from February 26 to March 14. Under this context, undergraduates include ordinary undergraduates, international undergraduates, Hong Kong, Macau and Taiwan undergraduates, and undergraduates of exchange programs; graduate students include full-time master degree candidates, full-time PhD candidates, part-time dual-certificate master degree candidates, part-time dual-certificate PhD candidates, international graduate students and graduate students from Hong Kong, Macau and Taiwan.

2. Students receiving non-degree education, online education, adult education and self-study examination should complete the registration before March 28.

II. Registration method

The “Information System for Student Registration and Basic Information Management” (http://register.hust.edu.cn, hereinafter referred to as the Registration System) will be opened during the registration period. All HUST students should register within the prescribed registration time to obtain the qualification for studying in the new semester.

1. Students can choose to register via the PC terminal of the Registration System or the WeChat terminal “HUST on WeChat - Application Center - Semester Registration”, or register via the “Self-service Terminal for Campus Card and Semester Registration” in the self-service area of the Administrative Service Center.

2. For students receiving non-degree education, online education, adult education and self-study examination, their departments can apply for registration on their behalf.

III. Attentions

1. Students who are unable to register as scheduled due to special reasons should apply to their departments for deferred registration within the prescribed registration time. The department shall strictly review the student’s application for deferred registration, and students should register before the deadline for deferred registration.

2. Registered students can go to their departments or the Service Window of Registrar Center to stamp the special seal for student card registration, or print their student card registration label through the “Self-service Terminal for Campus Card and Semester Registration” in the self-service area of the Administrative Service Center. The Registration System also provides download service of credible electronic registration certification documents for this semester for registered students.

3. Students who fail to register as required will be handled by HUST in accordance with relevant regulations.
