To all schools and departments:
In order to ensure the building and operation of the High-performance Computing Public Service Platform (hereinafter referred to as the Platform), an Expert Committee will be organized according to relevant requirements of the Management Method for the Building and Operation of High-performance Computing Public Service Platform of HUST. Relevant matters are notified as follows:
I. Duties of the Committee
Discussing and reviewing important issues related to the planning, building, operation management and rewarding plans of the Platform, and providing consultation, suggestions and guidance.
II. Qualifications of members
In principle, the committee members shall be in-service personnel with a professional technical title, such as a deputy senior tile or above, and have more than five years of experience in the study or application of high-performance computing. The committee members should have high political calibers and professional competence, and be able to insist on principles, considering the overall interests, and be honest and righteous.
III. Method of recommendation
Candidates for committee members can make a self-recommendation or be recommended by their schools. After the approval of schools, the candidates will be recommended to the Network and Informatization Office. Each school should not recommend more than 2 candidates. The method is as follows:
The person recommended should fill in the Recommendation Form of Expert Committee Members for the High-performance Computing Public Service Platform on the online service hall (https://ehall.hust.edu.cn/infoplus/form/GXNWYTJ/start). It will be submitted to the Network and Informatization Office after being approved by the director in charge of scientific research and the head of party organization of corresponding school and department.
IV. Deadline
December 30, 2021
V. Election of Committee Members
After the recommendation is ended, the Network and Informatization Office, together with the Research Development Office, Department of Social Sciences, and Lab and Equipment Administration Department, will elect the members of the first Expert Committee from the list of recommended candidates.
